About Montessori Works

Montessori Works was established in 1991 by a small group of parents who wanted a high quality early childhood education for their children. Since then, we have been the pioneer and advocate for providing authentic Montessori philosophy and environment in a long day care setting for children from birth to six years in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Our objective is to provide an environment that supports the child's learning, development of independence, self-confidence, and inner security. We offer quality Montessori childcare in Matraville and Maroubra, serving families across Sydney's eastern suburbs.

The Montessori Way: A Learning Environment

We believe that your child learns best at their own pace and by exercising their own choice within an environment that has been prepared to engage interest so that each child engages in activities. We provide nutritious and delicious meals to support the children's development. Providing a safe and fun environment is crucial for the kids' learning, allowing them to explore, play, and learn joyfully.

The Montessori environment includes music and culture, art and craft, academic, physical and practical skills in which sustainability is totally embedded. The curriculum is holistic and is organised in multi-aged groupings 0-3 and 3-6 years (2-5). It also focuses on enhancing social skills, promoting diversity and inclusion, and preparing children for school and life.
